What types of cooling products does ArcticBreeze offer?

We offer a comprehensive range of portable cooling solutions including portable air conditioners (7,000–18,000 BTU), evaporative coolers, tower fans, and desktop personal coolers. We also stock a range of accessories such as exhaust hoses, window seal kits, and replacement filters.

Do I need a permanent installation for your air conditioners?

No. All of our portable air conditioners are designed to be plug-and-play. Simply position the unit, connect the exhaust hose to a window using our included window kit, plug it in, and you're ready to go. No professional installation is required.

How do I choose the right size air conditioner for my room?

The cooling capacity you need depends on your room size. As a general guide: up to 16 m² requires 7,000 BTU, 16–22 m² needs 9,000 BTU, 22–30 m² needs 12,000 BTU, 30–40 m² needs 14,000 BTU, and 40–50 m² needs 18,000 BTU. Visit our Size Guide for detailed recommendations.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery takes 5–7 working days and is free on orders £49.99 & over. Express delivery takes 3–5 working days for £12.99. Delivery to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and UK islands may take 7–10 working days. For more details, please see our Delivery Information page.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands?

Yes, we deliver to all UK addresses including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands, and the Isles of Scilly. Delivery times may be slightly longer for these locations.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items must be in their original packaging and in unused condition. See our Returns & Refunds page for full details.

How do I make a warranty claim?

All ArcticBreeze products come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty (the Pro 18000 BTU includes 3 years). To initiate a warranty claim, please visit our Warranty Claims page or contact our support team directly.

Product Use

How often should I clean or replace the air filter?

We recommend checking your air filter every 2–4 weeks during regular use. Washable filters should be cleaned with warm soapy water and allowed to dry completely before reinserting. Replacement filters are available in our Accessories section.

Can I use a portable air conditioner in a room without a window?

Portable air conditioners require a window or similar opening to vent hot air outside via the exhaust hose. For windowless rooms, we recommend considering an evaporative cooler or tower fan, which do not require exhaust venting.

What is the difference between a portable AC and an evaporative cooler?

Portable air conditioners use refrigerant to actively cool air and reduce humidity, making them effective in any climate. Evaporative coolers use water evaporation to cool air and work best in dry conditions. For the humid British climate, portable ACs generally provide more effective cooling.
